The Holiday Shop Giveaway Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

By entering Easter Giveaway (“the Giveaway”), you (“the Participant”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Giveaway is organized by The Holiday Shop (“the Promoter”), and is open to residents of South Africa only, subject to the rules outlined below.

2. Eligibility

2.1 The Giveaway is open to South African residents aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
2.2 Employees of the Promoter, their immediate family members, and any associated companies or agencies are not eligible to enter.
2.3 The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any Participant.

3. How to Enter

3.1 The Participant must follow the steps outlined in the social media post to enter the Giveaway.
3.2 Each Participant may only enter once unless otherwise stated. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified unless explicitly allowed.
3.3 Entries must be submitted within the timeframe specified in the Giveaway post. Late or incomplete entries will not be considered.

4. Prizes

4.1 The prize(s) will be specified in the promotional post for the Giveaway.
4.2 The prize(s) are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item.
4.3 If the advertised prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
4.4 The total prize value will not exceed R1,000,000, as required by South African law.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

5.1 Winners will be selected by random draw unless otherwise specified.
5.2 The draw will take place on 11th of April 2025, and the winner(s) will be notified via [social media or email] within 48 hours of the draw.
5.3 If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days, the Promoter reserves the right to select a replacement winner.
5.4 The decision of the Promoter regarding the winner is final and binding.

6. Publicity

6.1 By entering, Participants agree to the use of their names and images in any publicity related to the Giveaway without additional compensation.
6.2 The winner may be required to participate in promotional activities as reasonably requested by the Promoter.

7. Data Protection

7.1 Any personal data provided by Participants will be used solely for the purposes of the Giveaway and in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
7.2 The Promoter will not share personal data with third parties unless required for the administration of the Giveaway.

8. General

8.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or cancel the Giveaway at any time without prior notice.
8.2 The Promoter is not responsible for any entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, or incomplete due to technical or other reasons beyond the Promoter’s control.
8.3 The Promoter accepts no liability for any damage, loss, or injury resulting from participation in the Giveaway or acceptance of the prize.
8.4 By entering the Giveaway, the Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Promoter, its employees, and agents from any loss, damage, or injury sustained in connection with participation in this Giveaway.

9. Disqualification

9.1 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who violates these Terms and Conditions or engages in fraudulent activity related to the Giveaway.
9.2 Any attempt to manipulate the outcome of the Giveaway will result in immediate disqualification.

10. Governing Law

This Giveaway and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of South Africa, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
